Engineered block and stone retaining walls built to handle Long Island's freeze-thaw cycles, drainage challenges, and shifting grade, for properties that need more than a quick stack of block.
Erosion washes out a little more of your yard with every storm, a steep slope leaves half the property unusable, and that wall someone built ten years ago keeps leaning a little further while water sneaks through the cracks. Problems like these are structural, and they get worse every season.
Heavy rain carries soil downhill, flooding beds, undermining patios, and leaving your yard uneven and unstable.
Settling, leaning, cracked blocks with no drainage behind them add up to a liability that only gets more expensive the longer it stands.
That steep grade behind your house is wasted square footage you could actually be using.
Before a single block is set, we excavate to solid ground, lay a compacted gravel base, and install a full drainage system: perforated pipe, filter fabric, and clean stone backfill. That's the part you'll never see, and it's the reason our walls don't move.
Then comes the precision work of level courses, proper setback, and cap stones locked in place. Dan personally oversees every retaining wall from layout to final backfill, so nothing gets rushed or guessed at.
